WAFFLE® Extended Care Plus Mattress Overlay contours to the body so the patient is “floating” in and not resting on the overlay. With the patient “floating” there is improved comfort and redistribution of pressure off at risk boney prominences, thereby decreasing risk of pressure injury (bedsores). Single patient use. Please note that this product does not come preinflated. If it is your first time purchasing, please consider a pump to inflate the mattress upon delivery.
